The position is assigned to the business vertical with the expectation of extensive travel, in-person engagement, partnership development, and enrollment-related responsibilities. Further, the position coordinates partnership development activities with academic leaders, with the intent to align academic programs and initiatives with enrollment pipelines.Duties and Responsibilities Strategic RelationshipsIdentifies and nurtures strategic relationships with organizations and influencers in the business spaceFacilitates strategic conversations between these external entities and university leadership to identify, develop, and launch partnerships to support enrollment, student success, and other important university aimsMarket AwarenessIn concert with the current priorities, identifies prospective partners, alumni, and friends of the university within the assigned region to build a strategic approach to partnershipsStrategically engages in awareness events (e.g., Chamber of Commerce meetings, conferences, industry focused associations, etc.)Identifies and executes lead generation events, experiences, and other efforts to support market awareness Partnership DevelopmentCreates and executes direct university-to-organization contact and development strategies to engage prospective partners, nurture key relationships, present IWU-N&G offerings, and guide the prospective partner through the partnership development funnel, and increase enrollmentEnsures the administration of legal agreement for new partners, utilizing existing templatesExecutes these strategies with the goal to meet performance targets, including the number of partnerships and students enrolled in degreesOnboarding & EngagementSupports onboarding of a new partnerProvides ongoing communication with partners to ensure engagement, optimize the relationship, and ensure long-term enrollment successRecruitment StrategiesDevelops a custom recruitment strategy that will effectively communicate to an organization’s associates IWU programs and deliverablesCarries out recruitment activities with partner organizations by working with internal influencers and decision makersPresentations & EventsCreates customized presentations and recruitment materials for influencers, decision makers, and prospective studentsPlans and conducts onsite and virtual presentations and information meetingsRegisters for, attends, and maintains exhibit space at education, benefit, career, transfer, and other fairs and conferences, as applicableServes as an IWU representative to organizations and events as requested from time to timeInternal PartnersBuild strong relationships with enrollment leaders, counselors, and support staff to promote enrollment aimsCollaborates with academic leaders to design and execute outreach strategiesData ManagementMaintains records on recruitment and account activity through the N&G CRMTracks lead and contact data to support reporting, trend analysis, and relationship managementDevelops and tracks weekly, monthly, and annual benchmarks supporting development goalsMaintains an accurate accounting of all partners in the various tracking systemsPerform other tasks as assigned Qualifications: According to Indiana Wesleyan University employment policy all employees must possess a strong Christian commitment and adhere to the standards outlined in the IWU Community Lifestyle Statement.EducationBachelor's degree requiredMaster's degree is preferredExperienceMinimum of two (2) years of experience in business, sales, college recruitment, and/or public relationsRequired SkillsExcellent organization ability, superior interpersonal skills, detail oriented, and the ability to multi-taskEnjoys working with diverse audiences, and values multicultural awarenessRelates well to working professionalsSelf-initiating, self-managed, intrinsically motivated, innovative, creative, and perseveringAbility to arrange and conduct meetings and presentations with influencers and prospective students. Strong interpersonal and communication skillsAbility to articulate his/her Christian faithExcellent driving recordWorking experience in Office 365 and SalesforceSuperior communication skills (spoken, written, group, and individual.)Work primarily remotely50% - 75% Travel required.
