Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated School Psychologist to join our team in Houston, Texas. This position offers a unique blend of onsite and remote work flexibility, with 3 days per week onsite and 2 days per week working from home. As a School Psychologist, you will play a crucial role in supporting the emotional, social, and academic development of our students.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychological assessments to evaluate students' academic and emotional needs.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to create and implement effective interventions and behavioral plans.
  • Provide counseling and support services to students individually or in groups.
  • Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute to the development of IEP goals.
  • Support school-wide initiatives aimed at creating a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential student records in compliance with state and federal regulations.

Requirements:

  • Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or a related field.
  • Valid Texas license or certification as a School Psychologist.
  • Experience working with students in an educational setting, preferably in special education.
  • Knowledge of Texas state regulations and requirements for special education services.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and stakeholders.
