Job Description:

Soliant is currently seeking an experienced School Psychologist for a full-time contract position in the metro Houston, Texasarea for the 2024-2025 school year. This position is onsite.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations to assess students' cognitive, academic, emotional, and behavioral functioning
  • Develop and interpret assessment results, communicating findings to parents, educators, and other relevant stakeholders in a clear and understandable manner
  • Serve as a key member of the IEP team, contributing psychological expertise to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Collaborate with school district staff, including teachers, administrators, and support personnel, to develop and implement effective interventions and supports for students
  • Provide individual and group counseling services to address students' social-emotional and behavioral needs
  • Maintain accurate and confidential records of assessment results, progress notes, and other documentation in compliance with state and federal regulations

Qualifications:

  • Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology
  • Valid Georgia School Psychologist certification
  • Strong assessment, diagnostic, and intervention skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment
  • Experience preferred, particularly in conducting evaluations and assessments
