Contract School Psychologist, Pottstown, PA

Soliant is working with a school in the area of Pottstown, PA, and is seeking a full-time or part-time School Psychologist for the remainder of the school year.

Duties include:

  • Providing direct or indirect services including: 
    • Observations
    • Data collection
    • Review of student records collecting data
    • Conferences with teachers and parents
    • Student interviews
    • Functional Behavioral Assessments
    • Counseling (individual and group)
    • Behavior Intervention Plans
  • Executing psychological assessments, interpreting data, and writing reports in accordance with District, State and Federal guidelines
  • Attending IEP, team, school, and district-level meetings
  • Making referrals to resources to facilitate educational and behavioral interventions recommended for student success.
  • Participating in mediations, administrative reviews, hearings and due process proceedings, as needed.
  • Participating in disciplinary proceedings: expulsions, manifestations, and causation meetings.

The applicant will be covering K-12 schools across the District. Additional details about the caseload and the team will be shared in a direct interview with administrators.

  • School Psychologist certificate, issued by the Pennsylvania Department of Education
