Job Summary:

Pottstown School District is seeking a highly qualified Music/Band Teacher to lead the high school marching band and other music department responsibilities. This is a contracted position with a competitive salary and additional stipend.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the high school marching band and develop a comprehensive music program
  • Collaborate with the music department to plan and implement curriculum
  • Develop and maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff
  • Meet the requirements of the PA Certification in Music K-12

Requirements:

  • PA Certification in Music K-12
  • Acts 34, 114, and 151 Clearances, Physical, and TB
  • Google Certification or Google Classroom experience preferred

Benefits:

  • $6,100.00 tuition reimbursement per year up to Master's degree
