Pearl Harbor, United States Booz Allen Hamilton Full time
Electromagnetic Warfare Analyst

The Opportunity:

Critical decisions are made every single day in the military. What if you could use your analytical skills to help them make informed decisions? With all the information available today, it takes a skilled analyst to know how to find and interpret the best data to give their clients the right answers.

As an Electromagnetic Warfare Analyst, you use your specialized functional, technical, and military experience and your attention to detail to support EW mission planning and analysis for Indo-Pacific operations and activities. You will develop, coordinate, and recommend EW courses of action for Commander approval and implementation, including providing EW plans into CONOPS, OPLANS, CONPLANS and OPORDs. You'll coordinate EW policy papers, deliver information and decision briefs to client senior leaders, and make recommendations to optimize EW, signature management, radio frequency (RF) Cyber activities, spectrum management, and other spectrum operations during maneuver, targeting, fires, and force protection.

You’ll be a trusted advisor to our clients, and we’ll look to you to identify, analyze, and evaluate complex systems, policies, processes, and integrate all aspects of EW, including electromagnetic support, protection, and attack, to bilateral and multi-lateral engagements, exercises, and local training and force protection activities. You will be central to coordinating with internal elements and external organizations for analysis and planning evolutions during crisis and contingency planning and execution.

You’ll guide the work we do for defense in the Indo-Pacific theater and the solutions we deliver for military missions and defense planning.

Join us. The world can’t wait.

You Have:

  • 10+ years of experience with EW policy, planning, and operational and programmatic work

  • 7+ years of experience with integrating electronic support, electronic protection, and electronic attack capabilities and effects into plans, operations, and targeting processes or systems

  • 2+ years of experience with working at a 4-star level command or staff

  • Experience with delivering information and decision briefs to client senior leaders, articulating detailed and nuanced scientific data clearly for non-SME decision-makers verbally and in writing

  • Ability to coordinate laterally with a network of EW military and civilian professionals

  • TS/SCI clearance

  • Bachelor's degree

Nice If You Have:

  • Experience with electromagnetic warfare operations in the DoD as an Electromagnetic Warfare Officer (EWO) or Electromagnetic Countermeasures Officer (ECMO)

  • Experience with writing EW tabs for OPLANs and CONPLANs, operational concepts, CONOPS, and OPORDS

  • Experience with EW issues and topics in the Indo-Pacific theater

  • Knowledge of adversary EW capabilities

  • Graduate of the Joint Electronic Warfare Theater Operations Course (JEWTOC)

  • Graduate of Command and General Staff College or Service equivalent
