RESPONSIBLE FOR:
Performs and leads modality daily operationsand provides leadership relative to the assigned area. Promotes andadvocates imaging services by remaining abreast of the latestchanges in technology and equipment. The Lead Nuclear MedicineTechnologist ensures accreditations standards are maintained aswell as performs a variety of tasks involving the operation ofnuclear medicine equipment and other equipment/devices asappropriate.

Qualifications:
MINIMUMEDUCATION REQUIRED:
Graduate of a NuclearMedicine program accredited by either the Joint Review Committee onEducation Programs in Nuclear Medicine Technology (JRCNMT) or theNuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board(NMTCB).

MINIMUM EXPERIENCEREQUIRED:
Must meet requirements of highestleveled Nuclear Medicine Technologist at the assignedentity.

MINIMUM LICENSURE/CERTIFICATIONREQUIRED BY LAW:
Registered nuclear technologistwith either the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist(Nuclear) ARRT (N) or the Nuclear Medicine TechnologistCertification Board(NMTCB-CNMT).

ADDITIONALQUALIFICATIONS:
BLS Certified
Possesses a thorough knowledge of radiation safety guidelines andradiopharmaceuticals as needed to perform and process NuclearMedicine examinations.
Evidence of leadership, criticalproblem-solving skills, prioritization, and decision-making skills.
Experience in leadership of personnel.
Knowledge of regulatory requirements
