Speech Language Pathologist Assistant

Location: Townsend, MA
Hours: Full-Time, 37.5 hours/week, Monday-Friday
Dates: September 4th, 2024 - June 20th, 2025
We are excited to announce an opportunity for a full-time Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) at an elementary school in Townsend, MA for the 2024-2025 school year. Join us in making a positive impact on the communication skills and academic success of our young learners
Caseload:
- Elementary students
Responsibilities:
- Implement speech, language, and hearing treatment programs as designed by the supervising licensed speech-language pathologist.
- Conduct screenings and carry-over activities.
- Collaborate with classroom teachers to enhance communication skills and manage student behavior.
- Participate in meetings and prepare clinical materials.
- Maintain required reports and records while ensuring compliance with federal, state, and district policies and regulations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in communicative science and disorders.
- Valid Massachusetts license as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant.
- Relevant experience in a school setting preferred.
