Are you a skilled and adaptable Cardiovascular Operating Room Technician seeking an opportunity to embark on a new adventure? Soliant Health is seeking a Travel CVOR Technician to join our team for an exciting assignment in Warwick, Rhode Island. As a Travel CVOR Tech, you'll have the chance to provide specialized support to surgical teams while exploring the beauty and charm of Warwick. Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and maintain the sterile field in the Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR), ensuring all necessary equipment, instruments, and supplies are ready for use.
  • Assist surgeons and other team members during CVOR procedures by anticipating their needs and providing prompt support.
  • Operate and maintain CVOR equipment and instrumentation, troubleshooting issues as they arise and ensuring proper functionality.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure efficient and effective patient care and optimal surgical outcomes.
  • Adhere to strict safety protocols and infection control procedures to maintain a safe surgical environment.

Qualifications:

  • Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification required.
  • At least two years of recent experience as a CVOR Technician or Surgical Technologist in a cardiovascular setting.
  • Proficiency in setting up and maintaining sterile fields, as well as knowledge of CVOR procedures, instrumentation, and equipment.
  • Excellent communication, teamwork, and critical thinking skills.
  • Ability to adapt to new environments and work effectively in a fast-paced setting.
