ObGyn physician job in Virginia : Locums Fredericksburg, Virginia, OB/GYN Opening
  • Clinical Role:

    • Start: 5/27/24
    • Contract Length: 6+ months.
    • Shift Details: 24/7 in-house call coverage.
    • Amount of coverage needed per month: 10-13 shifts per month.
    • Patients per day: Approx 200 deliveries per month
    • Department description: Labor and limited antepartum admission, postpartum and rounds. Average risk pts with NICU/Peds Support. OB triage coverage. Ed consults and Inpt consults.
    • Support Staff: I NP, 24/7 Anes, Peds and Level 3 NICU. No OB Hos backup available to start. Ideally want 2 MDs each day.
    • Building midwife program. Work around locums availability.
    • EMR: Epic
    • Practice Setting: Hospital
    • Board Certification - Required
    • Active VA License or in process
    • DEA - Required
