Weekly Pay Range - $1058 To $1176**Job Title:** Sterile Processing Technician**Job Specialty:** Sterile Processing Tech (SPT)**Job Duration:** 13 weeks**Shift:** Mid 5x8-Hour (14:00 - 22:30)**Guaranteed Hours:** 40 hours per week**Experience:** Minimum 2 years required**License:** Valid State License required**Certifications:** CBSPD or IAHCSMM required**Must-Have:** - Experience in inpatient, outpatient, and trauma settings- Expertise in sterilization, decontamination, assembly/wrap, case cart, HLD, and scrub procedures- Experience in various surgical cases such as orthopedic, urology, endo/laparoscopic, vascular, thoracic, neuro, gynecology, bariatrics, plastics, podiatry, ENT, transplant, robotics, and implants. Ophthalmology experience is preferred- Proficiency with EPIC- SPM experience is a plus**Job Description:**- Work Monday to Friday with one rotating weekend (Saturday and Sunday) per month, possibly twice depending on staffing needs- Handle a daily caseload of 65 surgical cases and a tray volume of 1200- On-call required twice per month; rotating weekends- No floating between units or facilities required- Must commit to working 3 out of 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)- Complete a 40-hour orientation**Additional Information:**- This role is at a Level II Trauma Center with a total of 571 staffed beds across campuses- Expectations include floating within all facilities within a given state- COVID-19 vaccination required, with medical or religious exemptions allowed. However, exemptions are not accepted for COVID-19 vaccination at this site
