Responsibilities

Strategic Planning

  • Develop and execute strategic plans related to multiple aspects of new employee training
  • Conduct periodic needs assessments or baselines related to new employee training at the Sponsor’s direction, but no more than once per year
  • Coordinate with DDIU Communications to create and disseminate information about courses, learning opportunities, and events in the Agency and IC
  • Draft official communications (program calls, course advertisements, etc.)
  • Brief Sponsor components on events and programs

Course and Registrar Support

  • Serve as point officer for student and adjunct instructor communication, registration, and scheduling for courses
  • Utilize learning management system to maintain registrations, attendance, course evaluations, and waitlists
  • Coordinate communication between stakeholder teams, organize meetings and send out regular meeting notes
  • Maintain course documentation in shared environment, and coordinate access to documentation and course materials to those with need to know

Qualifications

  • Must possess and be able to maintain a TS/SCI with polygraph
  • BS 10-12, MS 8-10, PhD 5-7
  • A degree (or equivalent experience) in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business or a scientific or technical discipline
  • Ability to fully coordinate project schedules
  • Ability to coordinate program management process activities such as Program Reviews and Control Gate Reviews including scheduling of meetings and preparation of briefings/presentations
  • Ability to assist in the preparation of management plans and reports
  • Ability to maintain correspondence suspense files, records, files for reports, operating procedures, internal memorandums, and compose correspondence
  • Ability to compose technical documents including user’s manuals, training materials, installation guides, proposals, and reports
  • Ability to fully perform tasks requiring the collecting, compiling, evaluating, and publishing of information and statistical data
  • Excellent communication and writing skills
  • Strong interpersonal, networking, and critical thinking skills (analysis, judgment, research, and compilation)
  • A working knowledge and experience with Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Office, SharePoint, PowerPoint, Camtasia, and Excel
  • Ability to synthesize information from various resources
  • Demonstrated ability to multi-task and work independently, self-starter

  • Ability to work in a dynamic and challenging environment
  • Ability to coordinate with engineers, systems analysts, programmers, technicians, scientists, and top-level managers in the coordination and planning of programs
  • Ability to apply critical thinking to identify strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems
