Blazerjobs is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Speech-Language Pathology Assistantto join our team for the 2024/2025 school year in Townsend, MA. This full-time, onsite position involves working with a diverse K-12 caseload. If you are passionate about helping students develop their communication skills, we want to hear from you
Key Responsibilities:- Direct Therapy: Provide speech and language therapy services to students under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP).
- Student Support: Assist in the implementation of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and therapy plans.
- Progress Monitoring: Track and document student progress, maintaining accurate records and reports.
- Collaboration: Work closely with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support student success.
- Resource Preparation: Assist in the preparation of therapy materials and activities.
- Communication: Communicate effectively with students, staff, and families to support student development.
- License: Must hold an active Speech-Language Pathology Assistant license in the state of Massachusetts.
- Experience: Previous experience working with children in an educational setting is preferred.
- Skills: Strong understanding of speech and language development, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work collaboratively.
