Job Title: School Psychologist

Location: Burbank, Illinois Area

Employer: Soliant Education

Term: 2024-2025 School Year

Caseload: K-8th Grade

Responsibilities:

  • Conducting evaluations to assess students' academic, emotional, and behavioral needs.
  • Administering assessments to identify learning disabilities, developmental delays, and other psychological factors impacting student performance.
  • Compiling comprehensive reports detailing assessment findings and recommendations for educational interventions.
  • Collaborating with educators, parents, and other stakeholders to develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to students' unique needs.
  • Participating in IEP meetings to discuss assessment results, review progress, and make appropriate adjustments to support student success.
  • Serving as an itinerant school psychologist, providing services across multiple school sites as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field.
  • Valid Illinois State Educator License with School Psychologist endorsement.
  • Experience conducting psychological assessments and writing comprehensive reports.
  • Strong understanding of special education laws and regulations, including the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with diverse stakeholders.
