Position Overview: We are currently seeking a dedicated and motivated Full-Time Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) to join our team in Houston, TX. As an SLPA, you will work closely with licensed Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) to provide comprehensive therapy services to clients across various age groups and communication needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Implement speech-language therapy interventions under the supervision of licensed SLPs.
  • Assist in conducting assessments, screenings, and evaluations to identify communication disorders.
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to each client's needs and goals.
  • Provide direct therapy services to clients in individual or group settings.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members, including SLPs, educators, and caregivers, to support client progress.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of therapy sessions and client progress.
  • Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities as required.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Communication Disorders or related field.
  • Valid Texas licensure or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA).
  • Previous experience working as an SLPA preferred, but recent graduates are welcome to apply.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicate with clients, families, and team members.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of speech and language development, disorders, and therapeutic techniques.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in utilizing therapy materials, tools, and technology to support client progress.
