Soliant is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Special Education Teacher for a full-time position near Saugus, MA. This role is ideal for a passionate educator who is committed to supporting students with diverse learning needs in a collaborative, inclusive school environment. As a Special Education Teacher, you will develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs), provide direct instruction, and work closely with a team to ensure each student achieves their highest potential.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each students unique needs.
  • Provide direct instruction and support to students in both individual and small group settings.
  • Adapt curriculum and instructional materials to accommodate diverse learning styles and abilities.
  • Collaborate with general education teachers, administrators, and families to promote a positive and inclusive learning experience.
  • Monitor student progress, update IEP goals, and adjust teaching strategies as necessary.
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to a team-based approach for supporting student growth.
  • Foster a supportive classroom environment that encourages academic, social, and emotional development.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Special Education (Masters preferred).
  • Valid Massachusetts teaching certification in Special Education (or eligibility for certification).
  • Experience with developing and implementing IEPs.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a team and engage with students of varying abilities.
  • A dedication to helping students reach their academic and personal goals.
