AP/AR Director

Responsibilities:
  • Oversee AR, AP and Sales and Use Tax, managing staff and supervisors
  • Provide strategic direction for AR team and hands on management and direction for the AP team
  • Improve processes  and metrics including DSO and DPO, reporting, trend analysis and cashflow management
  • Prepare journal entries and reconciliations as it pertains to AR, AP, accruals and credit cards
  • Maintenance of SOX controls
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • 5+ year of management in Accounting, AR or AP
  • Strong understanding of full cycle AP and AR
  • 3+ years of Sales and Use tax experience, 50 states preferred
  • Strong leadership and management skills
  • ERP and strong Excel experience
  • Experience in a manufacturing company required

Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to:

  • the individual’s skill sets, experience and training;
  • licensure and certification requirements;
  • office location and other geographic considerations;
  • other business and organizational needs.

With that said, as required by local law, Vaco believes that the following salary range referenced above reasonably estimates the base compensation for an individual hired into this position in geographies that require salary range disclosure. The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
