Vaco Atlanta has partnered with a reputable client to hire a Cash Applications Contractor to support the accounting team.  The position offers a collaborative environment with exposure to various accounting functions in a hybrid work setup.
 
Location: Buckhead Atlanta (Hybrid - 2 days onsite)
Position Type: Contract (4-6 months)
Compensation: $26-$30 per hour
Benefits: Vaco offers medical, dental & vision benefits
 
Responsibilities:
  • Process cash applications by reviewing and applying payments from bank statements.
  • Assist with reconciliation processes to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Utilize bank website tools to manage transactions and reporting.
  • Provide support for month-end closing activities as needed.
 
Requirements:
  • Proficiency in Excel.
  • Strong understanding of basic accounting principles.
  • Prior experience with cash applications.

Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to:

  • the individual’s skill sets, experience and training;
  • licensure and certification requirements;
  • office location and other geographic considerations;

With that said, as required by local law, Vaco believes that the following salary range referenced above reasonably estimates the base compensation for an individual hired into this position in geographies that require salary range disclosure.
