This full-time position offers an exciting opportunity to provide direct support to students with communication disorders and contribute to their academic and social development.

Details:

  • Duration: August 1, 2024 - Approximately May 29, 2025
  • Job Type: Full-time

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with licensed SLPs to implement IEPs and provide speech and language services to students.
  • Conduct therapy sessions, facilitate group activities, and assist in developing communication skills in students with diverse needs.
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress, therapy sessions, and communication with parents and stakeholders.
  • Participate in team meetings, professional development opportunities, and school-wide initiatives as required.

Requirements:

  • Associate's degree or higher in Speech-Language Pathology Assistant program from an accredited institution.
  • Texas state licensure as a SLPA.
  • Previous experience working with students in an educational setting, preferably as an SLPA.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team to support student success.
