Blazerjobs is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team for the upcoming school year. This position is based in a reputable school district in Fort Worth, TX.
Job Description:
As a SLPwith Blazer Jobs, you will:
- Manage a caseload of approximately 70 secondary school students.
- Develop and implement individualized speech and language therapy plans.
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify students' speech and language needs.
- Provide direct therapy services to students, addressing a variety of speech and communication disorders.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support students' academic and social success.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with school and district policies.
Schedule:
- Start Date: August 5, 2024
- End Date: May 23, 2025
- Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week
- Caseload: Secondary school students, approximately 70
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Current licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist in the state of Texas.
- Experience working with secondary school students preferred.
- Willingness to supervise SLPAs is a plus.
- Strong understanding of speech and language development and disorders.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Commitment to providing high-quality care and support to students.
