Principal duties and responsibilities:

  • Plan, design and manage the Security Team, Dispatch Center, Emergency Department EMT's and Parking enforcement operations.
  • Develop and implement training programs and education to maintain competency and proficiencies of Public Safety caregivers.
  • Assure compliance with, and fosters positive relationships with, regulatory agencies (Joint Commission, OSHA, Constable Board, DELJIS Board, etc.)
  • Foster an environment that is welcoming and encouraging to all.

Education and experience requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent formal law enforcement experience preferred
  • Minimum of ten years proven experience required leading in campus security to include five years of supervisory and management experience
  • Five years of law enforcement experience required
