Project Control Analyst, Senior

That’s why we need you, a financial analyst who can easily navigate the requirements, policies, and regulations that govern funding, to make sure the Department of Defense's resources can make the most impact.

As a financial analyst on our team, you’ll create a financial management strategy to help the client succeed. You’ll work with project management to develop an actionable plan for your client to secure the funding needed to achieve their goals.

Using your knowledge of laws, regulations, and policies, you’ll help your client develop well-formed requirements. Once the funding is in place, you’ll make sure the funding is used efficiently through consistent tracking and communication with project management. This is your chance to play a key role while imparting your financial analysis expertise to your team.

You Have:

  • 5+ years of experience with financial management or in a financial program control environment

  • Experience with using Microsoft Office, including Excel and PowerPoint

  • Knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations and Joint Travel Regulations

  • Knowledge of advanced formulas in Excel and their use in financial tracking, analysis, and reporting environments

  • Ability to identify, research, discuss, and resolve administrative and financial issues independently and as part of a team, set priorities that balance service and control, and manage and track multiple initiatives

  • Ability to be team player, work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, and adapt to changing requirements

  • Ability to accomplish financial forecasts based on a bottom-up analysis and historical trends

  • Ability to think analytically and conduct trend analysis

  • Ability to obtain a security clearance

  • Bachelor's degree

Nice If You Have:

  • Experience with all contract types

  • Experience with advanced Microsoft Excel functions such as Power Query

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $67,700.00 to $154,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
