Job Responsibilities:

As an SLPA, you will work closely with certified Speech-Language Pathologists to deliver comprehensive speech and language therapy services to students. Your responsibilities will include:

  1. Implementing therapy plans and interventions under the guidance of licensed professionals.
  2. Conducting individual and group therapy sessions.
  3. Assisting in the development of individualized education plans (IEPs).
  4. Documenting student progress and maintaining accurate records.
  5. Collaborating with teachers, parents, and other team members to ensure effective communication and support for students.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Assistant or related field.
  2. SLPA certification or eligibility for certification in the state of New Hampshire.
  3. Experience working with children in a school or clinical setting (preferred).
  4. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  5. Dedication to the success and well-being of students.
