Job Details:
We are seeking a School Psychologist to cover a 12-week maternity leave starting at the end of September in Wheeling, IL. This position involves working with high school students, primarily 9th graders with mild to moderate autism. The candidate will have support from two other school psychologists and must be able to work in person.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and evaluations for 9th-grade students with mild/moderate autism.
  • Participate in eligibility meetings and develop intervention strategies.
  • Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and parents to support student development.
  • Monitor and document student progress.
  • Provide counseling and support to students as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Licensed School Psychologist.
  • Experience with mild/moderate autism in a high school setting.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and manage a caseload.
