Job Description:

We are currently seeking a compassionate and dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our school-based team in Lancaster, OH. The SLP will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating students with speech, language, and communication disorders, helping them achieve their academic and personal goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations to identify speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders in students.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on student needs.
  • Provide direct therapy services to students, both individually and in group settings.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support students communication and learning objectives.
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development and review of student-specific goals.
  • Monitor and document student progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed.
  • Maintain accurate and timely records of evaluations, therapy sessions, and progress reports.

Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Valid SLP license or certification in Ohio.
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred.
  • Experience working in a school setting is highly desirable.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
