This Airborne/Air Delivery Specialist (Parachute Rigger) position supports MARSOC at Stone Bay, Camp Lejeune, NC.
The Airborne/Air Delivery Specialist (Parachute Rigger) shall maintain, repair, pack, and inspect personnel, cargo parachute systems, oxygen equipment and ancillary equipment in accordance with applicable Technical Manuals.Maintenance requirements include preventative and corrective maintenance as well as modifications and calibrations. Responsibilities include using AIS such as GCSS-MC. Contractor must hold Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) rating of Senior or Master Rigger, familiar with USMC/tactical parachute equipment, and be a graduate of the US Army (Joint) Parachute Rigger Course (in accordance with MCO 3120.11A).The contractor will be required to support occasional off-site (CONUS) training and parachute operations. Contractor shall be able to obtain an operators’ license for non-tactical/tactical Government-owned equipment/vehicles, as required. 6-8 years’ experience is required.
Minimum Education/Experience Requirements: High School or GED equivalent and Six (6) years of relevant, progressive experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Must possess an active Secret Security Clearance.

Here’s what you’ll need:
Essential Functions
Work will be performed inside a Paraloft facility. Work assignments vary based on client requirements. Standard core working hours are 8 AM to 4;30 PM Monday through Friday, but depending upon operational demands, the position could require some night and weekend work. Some travel may be required based on client requirements.
Physical Requirements
Work may involve sitting or standing for extended periods of time. Phone use and PC or laptop. Filing required. May require lifting equipment and carrying boxes of supplies or files up to 50 lbs. Must have sufficient mobility, included but not limited to: bending, reaching, turning and kneeling to complete daily duties in a timely and efficient manner.
Equipment and Machines
Operation of non-tactical and/or tactical Government-owned equipment. General office equipment, which includes: telephone, fax machine, copier, PC/laptop, and other work related tools as required.
Attendance
Work assignments dependent on requirements by the client. It is important to be able to work at least 8 hours a day for 5 days per week (Monday through Friday). Must exhibit flexibility of work hours to adjust to surge situations based on critical mission requirements.
Other Essential Functions
Candidate must exhibit a professional behavior that promotes teamwork, fosters cooperation, and enhances productivity in the workplace. Must be well organized with the ability to coordinate, prioritize and execute multiple tasks simultaneously in a high-pressure environment. Ability to communicate verbally and in writing to work effectively with a variety of government, military and contractor personnel at all levels. Must be able to interface effectively with individuals at all levels of the organization. Grooming and dress usually business casual, but dependent on client’s standards. Must not pose a safety hazard to employees working in the same general area.
