Occupational Therapist

Soliant Health, a leading healthcare staffing company, is currently seeking a dedicated and qualified Occupational Therapist (OT) for a rewarding full-time position within a reputable school district in El Cajon, CA. Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive occupational therapy services to students in accordance with their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and implement therapeutic interventions
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students' educational and functional goals
- Monitor student progress, document therapy sessions, and maintain accurate records
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of students' educational plans
- Stay up-to-date with best practices, research, and developments in the field of occupational therapy
Qualifications:
- Valid California Occupational Therapist license
- Master's degree in Occupational Therapy or related field
- Experience working with pediatric populations, preferably in a school setting
- Strong knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and best practices in special education
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Dedicated, compassionate, and patient-centered approach
Employment Type: Full-time; Onsite
This is a full-time position that requires the occupational therapist to work onsite within the school district in El Cajon, CA. The position follows the regular academic year schedule, with summers off.
