JOBPURPOSE:
Under the Direction of theExecutive Director of Ancillary Services has administrative andoperational responsibility for assigned departments, includingmanagement of cost and finance, human resources, operations,quality of care and clinical outcomes, patient, physician and staffsatisfaction, change management and any other relevantresponsibilities related to this position. Serves as part of themanagement team and Shared Governance Model focused on promotingthe mission, vision and values, of PHC and Nursing ProfessionalPractice, embracing a person-centered philosophy while promotingpatient- family centered services across the continuum andenhancing value-drivenoutcomes.
KEYRESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Develops standards ofperformance, policies and procedures for designated areas ofresponsibility.
2. Organizes the areas of responsibilityin accordance with administrative guidelines in order to providespecified nursing and patient care services to meet organizational,regulatory privacy and Medical Staff guidelines.
3.Manages, implements and effects Change.
4. Maintains safework environment and culture, promotes excellence in customercare.
5. Oversees planning, growth and strategicinitiatives for assigned departments.
6. Functions in anadvisory capacity to the Vice President of Patient Services inevaluating proposed changes as they relate to thesedepartments.
7. Directs implementation and ensurescompliance with standards of nursing and professional practice thatpromotes optimum health care delivery along the lifecyclecontinuum.
8. Identifies opportunities for improvedcustomer value.
9. Manages Quality Patient Care andQuality patient Outcomes.
10. ManagesPatient/Physician/Staff Satisfaction.
11. Collects andanalyzes data to improve performances.
12. Serves as partof a collaborative management team focused on promoting theMission, Vision and Values of Piedmont Healthcare. Writes and/oredits collateral material for marketing and public relationspurposes including but not limited to brochures, fliers, factsheets, bios, andletters.

Qualifications:
MINIMUM EDUCATIONREQUIRED:
Graduate of an accredited Schoolof Nursing.
MINIMUM EXPERIENCEREQUIRED:
Seven (7) years of nursingexperience, to include three (3) years of progressive managementexperience required.
MINIMUMLICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BYLAW:
Current Licensure as a RegisteredNurse in the State ofGeorgia.
ADDITIONALQUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelors degree in Nursingis preferred.
Masters degree in Nursing or related fieldis desired.
