Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate School Psychologist to join our team. The School Psychologist will play a crucial role in supporting the academic achievement, social-emotional development, and mental well-being of our students. We are looking for a skilled and knowledgeable professional who is passionate about making a difference in the lives of children and families.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments to evaluate students' cognitive, academic, social, and emotional functioning.
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and community stakeholders to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and behavior intervention plans (BIPs) to support students with diverse needs.
  • Provide counseling, crisis intervention, and therapeutic interventions to students experiencing academic, behavioral, or emotional challenges.
  • Serve as a resource to school staff on topics related to behavior management, social-emotional learning, and mental health promotion.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and collaborate with colleagues to develop intervention strategies and support plans.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of school-wide initiatives aimed at creating a positive and inclusive school culture.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential records of assessments, interventions, and progress monitoring data.

Qualifications:

  • Master's or doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program.
  • Valid certification/license as a School Psychologist (SP) in the state of Oklahoma.
  • Previous experience working as a School Psychologist in a school or educational setting preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of psychological assessment tools, intervention strategies, and educational laws and regulations.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
  • Commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion in education and mental health services.
