Requirements:
  • 1 year experience
  • CT Procedure experience: Abdomen, Pelvis, Head/neck, Chest, Spine, Musculoskeletal, Brain Perfusion, CTAs, Multiplanar Reconstruction
  • Skills: Inpatient, ER, Adult ICU
  • GE & Siemens Scanner Use is a must
  • Trauma Level II Experience
  • Must be certified with operator requirements of specific equipment
  • BLS
  • ARRT(R)(CT)
  • Skills: Outpatient, IV Starts, PACS, Contrast, Visage preferred

REQUIRED SKILLS / CERTS / EXP:Minimum Years of Experience: 1 Year ExperienceTraveler Experience: Unit Will Accept 1st Time TravelersLocals Accepted Skills: Inpatient, ER, Adult ICU***GE & Siemens Scanner Use is a MUST******Level II Trauma Unit***CT Procedure Experience: Abdomen, Pelvis, Head/neck, Chest, Spine, Musculoskeletal, Brain Perfusion, CTAs, Multiplanar ReconstructionCerts: BLS, ARRT(R)(CT)PREFERRED SKILLS / CERTS / EXP:Skills: Outpatient, IV Starts, PACS, Contrast, VisageJOB DETAILS:RATIOS: Daily Caseload: 150-200 Scans; 4 RoomsWill Accept 13 Weeks.*40 Hours Can be Offered10 HOUR MIDS (Tues-Fri) 12:45 - 23:15PATIENT DIAGNOSES: Infants, Pediatrics, Adolescents, Adults and GeriatricsSPECIAL PROCEDURES / UNIT DETAILS: This is in the emergency department on a Siemen's scanner doing routine ED patients, also Code Stroke and level 2 trauma patients. ***VERY FAST PACED*** On first shift we typically have 4-5 techs. Second shift after 5pm there are typically 2-3 techs. Third shift there is 1 tech. Weekends we have 2 techs. Typical case load for one tech in an 8-hour shift is anywhere from 8-12 patients.SPECIAL EQUIPMENT: Siemens Scanner, GE. Our machines are Siemens, and we have the S3000 and the Sequoia.UNIT SYSTEMS: EPIC, VisageSCRUBS: Royal BlueVery Fast Pace in the Emergency Department
