Position Overview:

We are currently seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist to join our dynamic and skilled surgical team. The ideal candidate is a dedicated and experienced professional who is committed to delivering high-quality patient care in the operating room.

Responsibilities & requirements:

  • Prepare and organize surgical instruments, equipment, and supplies for procedures.
  • 4X10's days or 3X12's
  • Level 1 Trauma Experience (preferred)
  • Travel experience (required)
  • Assist the surgical team during procedures, anticipating the needs of surgeons and other team members.
  • Maintain a sterile field and ensure all aseptic techniques are followed.
  • Collaborate with nurses, surgeons, and other healthcare professionals to ensure a smooth and efficient surgical process.
  • Assist with patient positioning and draping.
  • Handle and care for surgical specimens.
  • Adhere to all safety and infection control policies and procedures.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development and training.

Qualifications:

  • Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) credential from an accredited program..
  • Minimum of 2years of experience as a Surgical Technologist.
  • Strong knowledge of surgical procedures and protocols.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment.
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality.
