Identity and Access Management Specialist
Newark, OH. Hybrid model. Mon-Wed onsite, Thurs & Friday remote;
12-month contract with eligibility for extension or full-time conversion. 


Job Description: 

-The Identity and Access Management Specialist is responsible for ensuring that the right individuals have access to the right resources.

- Provision and de-provision user accounts in accordance with identity lifecycle state changes including onboarding and offboarding.

- Perform regular updates to user access.

- Ensure accurate and timely delivery of services through the completion of tickets in the IT Service Management system.

- Safeguard against unauthorized and excessive access by ensuring requests are completed in accordance with policies, procedures, and controls.

- Assist in identifying and mitigating IAM-related security risks by notifying and escalating to IAM management.

- Ability to multi-task and effectively prioritize work to manage multiple work-streams.

- Work with other departments to solve basic IAM issues.

- Strong complex problem-solving skills.

- Stay up to date on latest trends and industry best practices

- Communicate with customers to understand access needs and provide support.

 

High school Diploma required, associate or bachelor’s degree preferred in IT, Computer Science or equivalent  

  • Certs: COMPTIA Security+ or Sailpoint Essentials preferred
  • 1 year of experience required and open to their experience being either work experience, certifications, or formal education
  • Most Used Tools: Sailpoint, Ivanti, Microsoft Office, Excel proficiency is a plus.
  • Experience with other ITSM tools such as ServiceNow would be beneficial or other IGA tools such as OKTA
