Job Description:
Are you a dedicated and licensed School Psychologist looking to make a positive impact in a vibrant community? Soliant Education is seeking a compassionate and skilled School Psychologist for a full-time, on-site position in Astoria, NY. Join our team and support students from K-12th grade as we work together to foster a safe and supportive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations to support student development and academic achievement.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Provide counseling and intervention services to address students' emotional, behavioral, and academic needs.
- Offer crisis intervention and support as needed.
- Monitor and report on student progress and recommend appropriate adjustments to interventions.
- Contribute to school-wide programs and initiatives promoting mental health and well-being.
Qualifications:
- Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field.
- Valid School Psychologist license in the state of New York.
