Job Title: School Psychologist

Location: Encinitas, California Area

Company: Soliant Education

Position Type: Temporary (remainder of current school year) with potential for full-time position for the 2024-2025 school year or permanent placement

Responsibilities:

  • Conducting initial evaluations and assessments for students referred for special education services.
  • Providing counseling and interventions to students as specified in their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
  • Collaborating with teachers, parents, and other school staff to develop and implement strategies to support student success.
  • Maintaining accurate and detailed documentation of student progress and services provided.

Requirements:

  • Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field.
  • California School Psychologist certification or eligibility for certification.
  • Experience working with students with diverse needs in an educational setting.
  • Strong assessment, counseling, and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Additional Information:

  • This position is temporary for the remainder of the current school year.
  • If performance is satisfactory, there is potential for a full-time position for the 2024-2025 school year.
  • The district is open to both permanent placement and contracting arrangements.
