Soliant is a leading provider of educational services dedicated to empowering students through personalized learning. We are currently seeking a skilled Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to join our team on a contracted basis, supporting schools.

Position Overview: As a Contracted School-Based SLPA, you will work collaboratively with licensed Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) and other educational professionals to provide essential speech and language services to students. Your primary responsibility will be to assist in the implementation of speech and language therapy programs, conduct assessments, and collaborate with teachers and parents to support the communication needs of students.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with licensed SLPs to implement speech and language therapy plans.
  • Provide individual or small-group therapy sessions to students as directed by the SLP.
  • Assist in conducting assessments to determine students' speech and language needs.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of therapy sessions and progress.
  • Collaborate with teachers and parents to support carryover of therapeutic strategies into the classroom and home environments.
  • Participate in team meetings and professional development activities.

Qualifications:

  • Associate's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Assistance or related field.
  • State certification as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Proficient in maintaining accurate documentation.

Contract Details: This is a remainder of the school yearcontract position with the possibility of extension based on performance and organizational needs. Compensation will be commensurate with experience.
