Technical Lead, Senior Manager

The Opportunity:

We're looking for a passionate technical lead in full stack software engineering to work with a fast-paced, highly collaborative software development team building and launching capability for Enterprise web-based systems and data solutions in the cybersecurity field. You'll have the opportunity to work on automation of nation-level critical missions.

You'll be responsible for executing as a senior technical individual contributor to design and build advanced system features and capabilities. You'll also use your leadership and communication skills to drive team objectives working with a diverse team of analysts and engineers. You'll execute complex requirements analysis, design, development, testing, and documentation of high-quality, secure, and performant capabilities. You'll leverage your technical expertise in configuration management, web technologies, software, and data.

Using your expertise with full-stack web application development and understanding of programming fundamentals and object-oriented design principles, you’ll be able to learn new languages, technologies, and codebases quickly. You’ll work independently on features while collaborating and leading members to break down problems, review design and code, and solve difficult problems.

You Have:

  • 10+ years of experience working on software development teams for Enterprise production web-based systems
  • 10+ years of experience with server-side languages such as C#, Java, or Go
  • 10+ years of experience with HTML, CSS, or JavaScript, including jQuery, React, Vue, or D3
  • 5+ years of experience with Cloud architecture such as AWS
  • 5+ years of experience with high read or write SQL, including Postgres, MySQL, or SQL Server
  • 5+ years of experience as a senior or technical lead managing team tasks, milestones, and schedules
  • Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Gitlab, or GitHub actions
  • Experience with Docker or Kubernetes
  • Ability to obtain a security clearance
  • Bachelor’s degree

Nice If You Have:

  • Experience with AI or ML, including Generative AI or LLMs
  • Experience with cybersecurity operations or compliance
  • Secret clearance
  • Master’s degree
  • DoD 8570 IAT II Certification such as Security+ Certification

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $139,400.00 to $259,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
