Job Description:

Soliant Education is seeking a dedicated and experienced School Psychologist for a part-time position in the Galveston, Texas area. This role involves working on an elementary school campus, participating in the ARD (Admission, Review, and Dismissal) process, and completing bilingual evaluations. We are looking for a passionate professional ready to start immediately, with interviews available right away for the 2024-2025 school year.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychological evaluations and assessments for elementary school students.
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) based on assessment results.
  • Provide counseling and support services to students.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to address students' academic, behavioral, and emotional needs.
  • Participate in the ARD process to discuss student progress and develop comprehensive support plans.
  • Complete bilingual evaluations to support diverse student needs.
  • Foster a positive and supportive learning atmosphere for all students.

Qualifications:

  • Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology.
  • Valid School Psychologist certification or licensure.
  • One year of experience as a school psychologist preferred.
  • Strong assessment, diagnostic, and counseling skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Ability to conduct bilingual evaluations.
  • Ability to work effectively in an elementary school setting.
