Job Responsibilities & Description for Data Entry Specialist:
  • Review and verify the accuracy of data extracted from physical documents, including medical codes and patient information, making corrections when necessary.
  • Process documents received by mail, preparing them for digital data extraction.
  • Trash removal, cleaning, and restocking pantries, restrooms, and break rooms.
  • Sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and window washing.
  • Minor maintenance tasks such as light carpentry, patching, painting, and lamp replacements.
  • Distribute office supplies, mail, and faxes.
  • Perform general clerical tasks and assist with shipping/receiving duties.
  • Set up meeting and conference rooms.
  • Maintain records and restock supplies as needed

Job Requirements for Data Entry Specialist:
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • 1–2 years of related work experience preferred
  • Data entry or medical claims processing experience is highly desirable
  • Ability to lift up to 20 pounds
