We are a dynamic team dedicated to supporting the F-35 Training System Support Center (TSSC) team. Our mission is to sustain and enhance the fielded Training System enterprise, ensuring high-quality pilot and maintainer training across multiple training locations. The Training System encompasses classroom infrastructure, courseware, and training devices that are crucial for effective training missions.

The Work

As a key member of our Product Engineer team you will:

• Collaborate with Product Teams to understand the scope of change, change type, effectivity, and schedule.
• Evaluate changes for enterprise effectivity and sustainability, authorizing their release for use on Training Systems.
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to identify team tasking and priority.
• Support TSSC Configuration Management, Release Management, and Systems Engineering teams.
• Manage product deliveries, status accounting, and baseline management of various configuration items.
• Facilitate the implementation of changes to Training Systems products, considering all aspects of a change including planning, designing, building, testing, training, communications, and deployment activities.

Note: This role is located at Eglin AFB, FL, with responsibilities extending to sustainment changes deployed to all training locations. Some travel may be required.

This position requires an active secret government security clearance; US Citizen is required for consideration.

Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor degree from an accredited college.

- Experience with configuration tools and data management processes.

- Experience coordinating projects using computer skills, including knowledge of MS Office SW products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

- 2 or more years of experience with engineering methods and processes.

- Candidates must have an active secret security clearance or higher with an investigation within the last 5 years.
Desired Skills:
- Experience with JIRA or Confluence or SharePoint or Agile.

- Track record of working effectively in a dynamic environment requiring shifting priorities with tight deadlines.

- Experience working in a team environment across functional areas and products.

- Experience troubleshooting and implementing problem-solving skills to improve business challenges.

- Experience using automated change management tracking tools.

- Security + Certification.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
