Collins Aerospace is seeking a Principal System Administrator to support system administration and maintenance functions associated with monitoring and controlling virtualized computer environments. This work supports the Common Mission Control Center (CMCC) program, located at Beale AFB, CA.

What You Will Do

  • Administration of VMWare ESXi servers.
  • Maintaining Operating Systems (Windows and RedHat Enterprise Linux).
  • Application and Security Patching.
  • Account and Permissions Management using Microsoft Active Directory.
  • Backup and Restore using Rubrik Backup Solutions.
  • Cybersecurity Processes related to Continuous Monitoring of IT Systems.
  • Deploy, update, and maintain Hyperconverged Infrastructure (HCI) systems.
  • Administration of HPE 3Par and Nimble storage solutions.

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Active certification to comply with NIST-8570 (Security+, CISSP, etc.)
  • The ability to obtain and maintain SAP clearance and access.
  • Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) unless prohibited by local laws/regulations and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience oran Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 9 years of relevant experience.
  • Active and transferable U.S. government DoD issued TS/SCI security clearance is required prior to start date.
  • U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

The salary range for this role is $77,000.00 to $163,000.00; however, Raytheon Technologies considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, education/training, and key skills.
