Warehouse Specialist

Position Details
- Pay: $22.75 per hour
- Shift: Monday - Friday from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM; overtime as required

Essential Job Functions
- Review documents and record information to verify quantity, identity, availability, and condition of product.
- Operate reach trucks, pallet jacks, and forklifts to select, pull, sort, and stack product within the warehouse and dock.
- Hand stack product when necessary.
- Shrink-wrap and label outgoing orders; remove shrink wrap from incoming orders.
Minimum Qualifications and Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 1-2 years of distribution warehouse experience, including operation of reach trucks, pallet jacks, and forklifts, is preferred.
- Ability to read and comprehend labels, instructions, and bills of lading.
- Ability to perform mathematical calculations involving addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division to verify quantities of product.
- Ability to apply understanding of problems involving some variables.
- Strong problem-solving and time management skills.
- Ability to deliver customer satisfaction within McLane guidelines.
- Independent discretion and judgment while also working well in a team environment.
Working Conditions
- Work environment encompasses all areas of the Distribution Center.
- Security check required upon entering or exiting the facility.
- Security may conduct searches of employees or vehicles at any time.
Candidates may be subject to a background check and drug screen, in accordance with applicable laws.
