Job Description Amentum is a leading provider of engineering, scientific, and program management support services.   We are at the forefront of breakthrough technology development and demonstration programs in multiple areas, including hypersonics, Unmanned Air Vehicle and Autonomous Systems, advanced sensors, propulsion, aircraft and space science systems.  Amentum is currently seeking talented, enthusiastic, and dynamic individuals to support DARPA and Space Development Agency in formulating, coordinating, monitoring, and transitioning advanced research and development programs to the U.S. military. Applicants must possess superior oral and written communications skills.  Candidates should be self-starters capable of working both independently and as part of a team.

Technical and management responsibilities may include:
  • Providing technical support in monitoring the execution of advanced technology development and prototype demonstration programs
  • Performing independent technical assessments and feasibility analyses of new technologies and system designs
  • Attending, monitoring, and reporting on system field testing and demonstrations
  • Supporting technical interchange meetings and design reviews
  • Developing and running simulation models
  • Support the Identifying and implementing new program concepts
  • Providing program management and acquisition support
  • Authoring program status briefings and technical reports
  • CONUS travel - 25%
Minimum Qualifications: • MS with 20 years or PhD with 15 years • Experience in relevant commercial or defense-related systems development programs • Ability to obtain a Secret US Government clearance and a TS/SCI US Government clearance Note: US Citizenship is required to obtain a Secret clearance and TS/SCI clearance • Ability to work in a dynamic team environment • Excellent oral and written communication skills Desired qualifications: • Experience in commercial or defense-related technology research and/or development programs
