The Opportunity

As an Actuarial Associate in the ALM and Capital Modeling group, you will lead research and development projects to improve the efficiency, accuracy, and effectiveness of our modeling and analysis procedures for capital and ALM results. You will collaborate with team members to improve our understanding of ALM and solvency results to help educate senior management and guide business decisions.

Job Responsibilities

  • Research issues within our CFT and ALM models and results and help to develop solutions to address them.


  • Develop projects that increase the efficiency and accuracy of model calculations.


  • Help improve CFT and ALM analytical processes to allow for more timely and accurate results


  • Provide guidance and training to develop understanding within and outside of the functional area


  • Perform other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

  • Associate of the Society of Actuaries (ASA) or new Fellow of the Society of Actuaries (FSA), or equivalent professional credential from recognized professional actuarial association.
  • 4+ years of relevant actuarial experience


Ideal Qualifications

  • Knowledge of Prophet Software
  • Prior experience with Traditional Fixed and Index-Linked Deferred Annuities
  • Experience with Cash Flow Projection Modeling
