Customer Support Program Manager in  GAC Savannah

Unique Skills:

Experience managing large projects between multiple locations preferred.

 

Education and Experience Requirements
Bachelor's Degree preferred. 10 years experience in Avionics, Interior, or Mechanical systems, manufacturing, or service and support.

Position Purpose:

Plans, organizes and manages service center and supplier resources to meet assigned program cost and schedule milestones. Responsibilities include program management of Gulfstream and non-Gulfstream aircraft systems development, test, certification, licensing/patents, product support, quality, reliability, availability and entry into service activities.

Job Description

Principle Duties and Responsibilities:

Essential Functions:
- Tracks program certification schedule and performance targets/guarantees. .

- Develops Master Schedules for in service A/C deliveries and site distribution, for new Gulfstream and non-Gulfstream aircraft R&D development programs.

- Monitors R&D budgets to achieve lot cost targets and/or desired savings/revenue.

- Administers program configuration control activities and develops/updates product specifications. .

- Monitors quality, reliability and availability issues to ensure top drivers are identified and resolved.

- Supports Service Center activities to meet business and customer satisfaction goals.

- Manages implementation of Fleet retrofit programs to achieve quality, reliability and availability targets/goals.

Additional Functions:
- Coordinates with Tech Ops to maintain Technical and Program updates. .

- Supports supplier design and program reviews to ensure program deliverables, schedules and budgets are met. .

Perform other duties as assigned.

Other Requirements:
- Requires a comprehensive knowledge of Gulfstream and non-Gulfstream aircraft systems, Engineering, Quality, Material and Service and Support operations.

- Requires a detailed understanding of Program/Project Management processes and procedures, and an intimate understanding of service A/C operations.
