Evaluate account balances, trends and conditions thereof to provide guidance to operating officials based on laws, regulations, and professional knowledge of accounting practices
Interpret general statutory and regulatory guidelines in order to provide sound fiscal advice on internal Division financial operations.
Advise program managers of cost effectiveness of current programs.
Provide financial and accounting services at all levels of the district and field offices.
Responsible for analysis and review of accounting data in the Corps of Engineers Financial Management. System (CEFMS) to ensure accuracy and propriety of accounts.
Participate in management decision making sessions on specialized military programs.
Coordinate with other accountants in the preparation of accounting data required by various organizations for their use in developing programming costs for current/future operations.
