Supply Chain Analyst, Day Shift, Strategic Sourcing

As a Supply Chain Analyst you will:
•Develop strategies to implement identified cost reduction/ product utilization optimization opportunities.
•Work towards reducing off-contract spending and increasing contract compliance with the Group Purchasing Organization (GPO).
•Work with stakeholders to drive cost-saving initiatives and implement identified opportunities.
•Represent and lead the supply chain at the Analyst Committee to present cost-saving/utilization improvement opportunities.
•Coordinate contract management activities including completion and tracking of contract documents.
•Assist the Strategic Sourcing Manager on ad-hoc initiatives/projects outside of the routine work.
Qualified candidates will possess:
•Bachelor's degree required; Finance / Supply Chain Management/ Business Administration/Engineering Management preferred.
•At least 4 years experience in the Supply Chain Management Department - •Master's degree in a related field may substitute for the experience requirement
•Strong analytical skills and knowledge of Microsoft Excel is a must
•Ability to quickly learn and understand business analytics and contracting processes in healthcare sourcing.
•Certifications in the field of the supply chain are a plus.
•The candidate should be willing to develop a career in healthcare supply chain business.
• The ability to quickly learn ERP systems and other software tools is a must. • • • Experience in Group Purchasing Organization, (GPO) contracting is a plus.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Clinical Background a plus

COVID-19 Vaccination

Tobacco and Drug Statement
Tobacco use is a well-recognized preventable cause of death in the United States and an important public health issue. In order to promote and maintain a healthy work environment, Adventist HealthCare will not hire applicants for employment who either state that they are nicotine users or who test positive for nicotine and drug use.
While some jurisdictions, including Maryland, permit the use of marijuana for medical purposes, marijuana continues to be classified as an illegal drug under the federal Controlled Substances Act. As a result, medical marijuana use will not be accepted as a valid explanation for a positive drug test result.
Adventist HealthCare will withdraw offers of employment to applicants who test positive for Cotinine (nicotine) and marijuana. Those testing positive are given the opportunity to re-apply in 90 days, if they can truthfully attest that they have not used any nicotine products in the past ninety (90) days and successfully pass follow-up testing.
