Responsibilities

 

Schedule Coordination: Coordinate delivery and service appointments efficiently, taking into account technician availability, customer preferences, and geographic locations.

Customer Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, providing timely updates on appointment status, delivery windows, and any changes to schedules.

Route Optimization: Utilize software tools to optimize delivery and service routes, minimizing travel time and maximizing efficiency.

Problem Resolution: Address any issues or concerns that arise during appointments, including scheduling conflicts, delivery delays, or customer inquiries, with a focus on providing prompt and satisfactory solutions.

Documentation: Maintain accurate records of all appointments, including customer information, service requests, and technician notes, to ensure proper documentation and accountability.

Team Collaboration: Collaborate closely with delivery drivers, service technicians, and other team members to ensure effective communication and coordination throughout the scheduling and delivery process.

Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency gains within the dispatching function, and actively contribute ideas and suggestions for enhancement.
