Responsibilities:
- Perform general cleaning duties to maintain the cleanliness and appearance of the facility - Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors - Dust and wipe down surfaces - Empty trash receptacles and replace liners - Clean and sanitize restrooms - Restock supplies in restrooms and other areas as needed - Perform floor care tasks such as buffing, stripping, waxing, and polishing - Follow established cleaning procedures and safety guidelines - Report any maintenance or repair needs to the supervisor
Experience:
- Previous experience in porter or custodial work preferred - Knowledge of commercial and industrial cleaning techniques and equipment - Familiarity with floor care procedures such as buffing and waxing Skills:
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain a high level of cleanliness - Ability to work independently and efficiently - Good time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively - Excellent communication skills to interact with team members and supervisors Note:
