Our client, a leading provider of innovative research tools in the fields of epigenetics, DNA, RNA, microbiomics, and yeast-based research, is seeking an enthusiastic individual to join their DNA Purification Department. In this role, you will collaborate closely with various research groups and scientists, partnering with leadership to develop cutting-edge DNA Purification technologies from conception to commercialisation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the conceptualization, execution, and assessment of R&D projects.
  • Provide project rationale, customer needs analysis, and resource requirements.
  • Secure approval for projects and major strategy changes.
  • Foster teamwork and independent work within the team.
  • Communicate effectively with team members, upper management, and other departments.
  • Direct the work of Scientists, Research Associates, and Interns.
  • Maintain project documentation in accordance with company policies.
  • Contribute to the development of commercial strategies for DNA Purification products.

    Education and Experience:

    • Ph.D. in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Bioengineering, or related field.
    • Strong scientific background in chemistry, biochemistry, genomics, and molecular biology.
    • Demonstrated publication record in scientific journals.
    • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
    • Prior industrial experience preferred.

      Compensation:

      The estimated annual salary for this position ranges from $100,000 to $180,000. Actual compensation will be provided upon offer and is based on factors such as location, experience, and skills.
