Job Description
I am currently partnered with a top pharmaceutical company looking for an experienced and motivated Pharma R&D Counsel specializing in regulatory matters to join our dynamic legal team. The successful candidate will provide strategic legal support to research and development teams, ensuring regulatory compliance and facilitating the smooth progress of the organizations drug development programs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide legal advice and counsel to global development programs in a designated therapeutic area.
- Advise leaders in the Global Research and Development team and other relevant departments on regulations and laws impacting R&D activities.
- Draft and negotiate a wide range of R&D agreements, including clinical trial agreements and other contracts, in support of global clinical trial operations.
- Counsel on patient privacy and rights in matters related to clinical research.
- Deep understanding of the Food, Drug & Cosmetic Act, Anti-Kickback statute, and Foreign Corrupt Practices Act is a plus.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.
- Admission to the bar in at least one U.S. state, with the ability to practice in New York.
- A minimum of 4 years of experience in pharmaceutical law, with a focus on regulatory matters.
- Comprehensive knowledge of FDA other international regulatory requirements.
